A new beginning

I just realized it has been forever since I posted something on here. I need to catch all of you up. First of all, as of today, I have a new job. I am now working Altos Solutions. It is a company that specializes in an Oncology specific Electronic Medical Record system. I am working for someone I worked for in the past and around people I used to work with. The beauty of it is that I get to work from home and I will travel about once a month.

I left the District Attorney's office for many reason. None of which I am going to discuss here. The main thing is I did what I though was best for my family. Tony was very supportive in the decision and is very excited about where this career will take me. So today marks a new beginning!

Now, as far as the baby is concerned...we are officially 4 months pregnant. I am showing now, but I still fit in my normal clothes. Tony laughed at me this weekend because it was the first time either one of noticed my belly and it was prominent.

On another baby note, we found out on Friday that Baby Brk (Burke) is a boy! We had an ultrasound at 7:30 on Friday. The tech told Tony the gender and not me. I had bought baby girl gifts and baby boy gifts for each of my parents the night before. Tony had to pick my mom up and take her to the airport, so I told him to to take the gift that was gender specific to my parents. My mom opened her gift right away and he left the one for my dad until after work. So my dad found out after 4pm on Friday and I didn't know until around 7pm, when I opened a gift from Tony. The gift from Tony was a little black jacket with the #10 on it (that was my jersey number in college) and a little brown outfit that said Mr. Cool. It was really sweet. I also got to the see the ultrasound picture of the little guy which was a between the legs shot with the words "Outdoor Plumbing." I thought that was funny. So, our little man will be here on or before April 18th! He is still yet to be named!
